The GBG program was incredible to me in my three years playing for them. I had a great time bonding with a well-crafted team that was both talented and cohesive. Although my teammates and I were focused and driven, I believe it was the coaches that truly built a foundation that put my team in the best position for the group and individual success we had. In terms of the college process, this program was crucial for me, giving me vital exposure in national and regional tournaments. One memory that will always stick out to me is a college coach approaching me at an Ivy League showcase asking me who I played for. I mentioned that I was a GBG Hawk, and his immediate response was about how, in his experience, the players that come out of the program were ‘prepared to play at the next level.’ Overall, I believe Coach Sullivan and the rest of the GBG coaches are one of the best staffs in the Northeast to play under because they truly care about their players’ well-being. I can say with certainty that anyone who plays for this program is going to come out a better, smarter player.
-Saajan May, Columbia University, 2022
The GBG Hawks is an excellent travel program that is run by an outstanding group of guys. The coaching staff does a great job of combining competitiveness and enjoyment for the game in order to help the players attain their eventual goals. Unlike many other programs, they keep the player's best interest in mind. I learned a lot in my time with the GBG Hawks.
-Austin DeCarr, New York Yankees, 3rd Round, 2014
With the RBI Baseball Academy and GBG Hawks program my game was pushed to its maximum potential. Their indoor programs, professional coaching staff and extremely competitive summer schedule helped me to not only excel at the High School level but also paved the road for my success at the collegiate level. The hard work on and off the field from both players and coaches are what set this program apart from any other and is the exact reason I take pride in calling myself a former Hawks player and a current Hawks coach.
-Ryan Olmo, University of Rhode Island, 2016
We consider RBI our second home. Our son is now a professional baseball player and was fortunate to have Paul as a coach, a mentor, and a role model. RBI is where your child needs to be regardless of their level because all of their coaches will help to guide and motivate your athlete to be the best they can be.
-Mike Wiseman, Father of Rhett Wiseman, Washington Nationals, 3rd Round, 2015
RBI Academy and the GBG Hawks took my game to the next level. Between indoor workouts, private lessons, and a rigorous summer schedule, the Hawks prepared me to compete at a high level, win a state championship, and immediately contribute to my college program as soon as I stepped on campus. The coaching and development sets the Hawks apart from other programs in the area leading to continued success on the field.
-Nick Ahearn, Babson College, 2016
The GBG Hawks helped not only mold me into a Division 1 ACC baseball player, but also into a caring teammate and hardworking competitor with a love for the game. Growing up in Foxboro, living two minutes away from RBI, the indoor facility became my second home and the staff and my teammates became my second family. From the age of 8, the RBI coaches and staff taught me just about everything I needed to know about the game of baseball. I have had the opportunity to see the travel program grow over the years and experience it both from a player's and coach's perspective. RBI Academy and the GBG Hawks Program gives young baseball players the chance to grow and accomplish their dreams to take their talent and skills to the next level and beyond.
-John Nicklas, Boston College, 2016
My time with GBG was awesome. Coach Sullivan was instrumental in my recruiting process and got several coaches a weekend to come watch us play. The coaches had a great balance of when to work hard and having fun. I couldn’t have asked for a better program to help me become a better baseball player.
-Donnie Cohoon, University of Hartford 2022
The GBG Hawks are a huge reason why I am where I am today. Without their exceptional staff and facilities, I would not have been as prepared to play at the collegiate level. Every coach on the staff is personable and knowledgeable and make every effort to treat each player fairly. They are truly professional in their approach and if you are looking to take your game to the next level, this is the place to do it!
-Jonathan Rolfe, St. Joseph’s College 2020
I have been training at RBI for the last 8 years beginning at 10 years old. Their private instructors have provided me with not only the training programs necessary to succeed on the field but their staff has shown me how I can combine my baseball ability and my academic success to put myself in a great position to take my athletics and academics to the next level. After my junior season I pitched for the 17U RBI Hawks and participated in their Summer Prospect Showcase at Stonehill College. A few months later I had many scholarship offers to Division I schools before officially committing to Brown University, a Division I Ivy League School. I am so appreciative of what RBI has done for me and I’m sure there will be many other kids who will also benefit from their facility and staff in the future.
-Eddie Fitzpatrick, Jr, Brown University, 2015
The Hawks program has helped me to get physically ready for the college level but more importantly, it has helped me get mentally ready as well. With the great coaching staff they have, they have taught me so much about the game that the transition to the college level became a smooth one.
-Will Kelleher, Stonehill College, 2019
After a yearly search for quality competition and exposure through summer baseball I was able to find a home with the RBI Hawks during my sophomore and junior year of high school. The professionalism and experience I gained through the staff was crucial to my ability to succeed at the college level. I can now use my experience as a player with the organization to better the younger generations and continue to let the Hawks prosper as the best baseball program in Massachusetts.
-Mike St. John, Fitchburg State University, 2017
Playing and being a part of the RBI Baseball Academy was a positive experience and helped me advance my game going in to college. The coaches were professional and a very good experience to learn and play from. I had an overall awesome summer experience.
-Charlie Butler, University of Maine, 2012
There’s no doubt in my mind that I would not be where I am today as a baseball player without the guidance and training that I received from RBI Academy. I came into contact with RBI Academy through the Dustin Pedroia and Jason Varitek summer training camp when I was 12 years old. I was fortunate enough to be placed on a team for that summer camp in which the team’s head coach was Chris Sullivan. He took me under his wing for the next 7-8 years. Since that time, not only has he helped my pitching mechanics immensely, but he helped me grow as a person as well. When I first met him, I was an immature 12-year-old lefty pitcher that had terrible mechanics. Since then, I’ve shaped into a mature, responsible young man that currently plays college baseball for Suffolk University – so I guess my mechanics have gotten a lot better! There aren’t enough words for me to express how thankful I am for being a part of the RBI family. Since my first day there, they’ve treated me like one of their own. Their tremendous coaching and guidance helped transform me into a much better player than I’ve ever imagined. Thank you RBI!
-Worth Walrod, Suffolk University, 2018
During the year that I played for GBG it helped me further my skill and experience in competitive baseball. GBG allowed me to play against better competition to prepare myself for college level baseball and allowed me to play against even better competition in summer baseball leagues while in High School.
-Justin Garcia, Roger Williams University, 2020
Since I’ve been 12 years old RBI academy has felt like home to me. The GBG Hawks have not only helped take me to the next level in baseball but also helped build many relationships with coaches and teammates that I still have today. Without RBI and coaches like Chris Sullivan I would not be where I am today as an athlete or a person. I had the privilege to play for coach Sullivan for multiple years, his hundreds of hours helping my teammates and I through the recruiting process and on the field perfectly reflects the staff at RBI. Being a part of the GBG Hawks from 13u to 18u was an amazing experience and created many life long memories playing baseball. For any player looking to take their game to the next level and be able to transition into collegiate baseball, RBI Academy is the answer.
-Alex Bissanti, Member and Hawk since 13U, Fitchburg State University, 2020
Playing for the GBG Hawks was more than just an opportunity to play summer ball, it was an experience that gave me the confidence and work ethic necessary to compete at a high level. The coaches truly care about each player in the program and expect nothing less than excellence. I can't thank Coach Sully enough for leading me in the right direction throughout the entire college recruiting process and for helping me recognize my full potential as a ball player.
-Mike Slaby, Lesley University, 2017
My experience with the Hawks program was great, especially when it came time to transition into college baseball. Their coaches do a great job of preparing players before they leave for school and have the personal experience to know exactly what guys have to do to put themselves in a position to succeed at the next level. I was also fortunate to play with many great teammates throughout the years, many who I still consider to be some of my closest friends.
-Darren Kelly, 3 Year Hawk, Thomas College 2019
My experience with the GBG Hawks was great. The staff helped me to become a better player throughout my three years with the Hawks. My coaches challenged us to become to best players we could every time we stepped on the field. Our team was competitive on the national and local levels, which helped us gain exposure nationwide. Anyone in the GBG program will become a better player. The coaches were there to help me whenever I needed it; wither it be late night hitting sessions or feedback on my pitching mechanics. GBG shaped me into the player I am today, and I am very grateful for everything the staff has done.
-Anthony LoRicco, Army (West Point), 2022
